Susan is certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association in kitchen design (CKD), and by the National Home Builders Association as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). The CAPS certification qualifies her to work with people who intend to make their home accessible for themselves, their family, and their friends, as well as work with people with disabilities. Susan's projects have been features in several local magazines as well as two publications in Better Homes and Gardens.
Holly has a Bachelor's of Applied Arts degree in interior design as well as construction management from Central Michigan University. In the Fall of 2010, Holly recieved her Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) designation through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Holly is also certified CAPS by the National Home Builders Association. Her design work includes finish material, furniture and flooring specification in addition to space planning for the kitchen and bath. In June of 2007, Holly received a first place award given by the National Kitchen and Bath association for the best kitchen design in a contest held among all of the design schools in western Michigan.
Tory Peterson graduated from Michigan State University in 2005, and joined the Lifestyle design team with an eclectic background in music, art and science.
In 2010, Tory recieved his Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) designation from the NKBA, the first level to completing the CKD designation.
Tory plays in the Grand Rapids band Simien The Whale, and will be participating in the 2011 Art Prize Event on September 24
